Welcome to the forum, would you like to say a bit more about what you are struggling with. An idea of what your latest HbA1C is and if you are on any medication will help to make any suggestions appropriate for you.
What sort of dietary regime are you following to try to manage your diabetes and do you have weight to lose.

This link may help with some explanation and some ideas for some dietary changes. https://lowcarbfreshwell.co.uk/
There is also the Learning Zone here which has lots of information.

Do ask any specific questions you may have, people manage their condition in a variety of ways and it is finding a way that suits you and is sustainable for the long term.

I have lost 2 stone i weigh around 8 & a half stone height 5ft 1inch. My levels have been high 16/17. But more recently dropping down to 7.9 or below 5’s. I am on metformin 2tabs twice a day & on glycosides. I also have fibromyalgia luckily mildly. I find it quite difficult, as I do have a very sweet tooth and tend to carry on as normal untill my husband reminds me.

2 year’s ago i was close to reversing it. Then look down occurred. I believe stress can play a part in spike in high levels. I have had a stressful life of late

A few things which are low carb which may satisfy your sweet tooth are the nut based Protein bars like Nature Valley, KIND, or shop own as they are less than 10g carb per bar, choc eclairs are not bad, dark chocolate or sugarfree jelly with added berries and cream as a desert.
Some people make low carb cakes from recipes on sugarfreelondoner web site.

Sorry to hear you have been finding things difficult during the Covid-19 lockdowns @Islarosegraysonpaularober

But amazing to hear that you were close to reversing your diabetes in the past.

Hopefully as the weather continues to brighten you can get more active (fibromyalgia permitting) and enjoy the better weather.

Some people find it can be a useful starting point to keep a really honest food diary for a week or two. No judgement or self accusation, but just being real with yourself and seeing exactly what you are eating, and when you are snacking. How mipuch of it is intentional. And how much is just on autopilot!

It’s especially helpful to add up the total carbohydrate content (not just ‘of which sugars’) in your meals and snacks too.

It is total carbohydrates that best show which meals/snacks will raise your blood glucose levels most.
