Just wanted to say hi
I am a Carer for my Dad who is 85 had Diabetes type 2 for about 13 years & now has to have insulin injections...he’s in hospital at the moment as bloods sky high even with insulin but they are trying to stabilise when he comes home I will be full time Carer & cook ...wish me luck xx

Hi @Greenshield . What a sorry for you . I hope they can stabilise his BG levels soon. Have they just started dad on insulin since he was admitted.

Tablets Gliclazide tabs 2 twice daily weren’t working so daily insulin injections by community nurse ...went up to 30.4 after breakfast was given insulin... later in day he was totally confused and staggering got him to bed called 111 then ambulance A&E 2 weeks later he’s still in
