Hi,

My name is Julianne and I'm the wife of Fudge who uses these forums.

I wanted to register myself as his diabetes confuses me sometimes. I try to keep him right food wise but i'm not sure i'm doing a good enough job. Should we be counting his carbs, and if so how do we go about it?

I'm trying to stick to his diet too but occasionally have to give in and have something naughty. Does your family do the same or am I just being mean and horrible to him lol.

thanks

J xx

Hi Julianne, it's always a pleasure to welcome a partner to the forum 🙂 Everyone has 'off' days - we are all human! The best thing to learn about os Glycaemic Index (GI) or Glycaemic Load (GL) diets - not all about losing weight, but better 'diabetes-appropriate' ways of eating. L;ook in the Recommended Books section for some good introductions 🙂

Hi Julianne, welcome to the forum.
