Just joined up.

I was type 2, I did the Newcastle diet, and seem to have reversed it.
Looking forward to getting involved.

Hi Travellor welcome to the forum 🙂 The Newcastle Diet is a pretty tough regime, how did you take to it? Did you make any long-term changes to your diet since finishing it? Always interested to know what has happened to people afterwards 🙂

It wasn't hard to be honest. 8 weeks of shakes.
I really just watch how much I eat now.
I think the not eating is a good reset.
That reset makes the difference.
So I snack less, and eat healthy when i can.
A lot less fat than I used to, no processed food when I can avoid it, and I have lost my taste for sweet stuff entirely.
But really, just no longer overeating.

I also exercise regularly now.

Welcome Traveller, from a fellow T2.
