I'm new, just joined. Been diabetic since age 29. Now 43 but still learning. I go through phases of being on top of it all and then the opposite. Currently going downhill a bit as not being strict enough with my food. Seems to happen when I'm stressed with other things and I don't prioritise my diabetes. It's tough sometimes isn't it?

Hi Ncaton

Welcome to the forum.

Everyone has a tough time with it every now and then I think. The important thing is not to let things slip for too long and climb back on the wagon to keep those D nasties at bay.

One small step at a time!

Hi Ncaton, welcome to the forum 🙂 I think it's inevitable to go through phases with something that makes such demands on everyday life, but it's good that you recognise the 'downs' and hopefully this will be the first step on getting back to giving it a little bit more attention - small steps, but you will get there! 🙂

Hi, Ncaton welcome to the forum. As the others have said we all go through ups and downs with it. The good thing is you know what patch your going through, take it a little step at a time.
