Hi I'm shaz I've type2 diabetes just been put on byetta injections & really need to sort out my levels & lose a little weight lol

Hi was rather nauseas at first but getting used to it don't mind injecting as I was pregnant 7 yrs ago & had to go on insulin so knew the needles weren't sore been advised by nurse to eat after 15mins of taking it but I wait 20mins as I take a pill before eating that has to be taken 20 mins before food so makes sense to do both at the same time lol

Oops also my username is because I'm a bilateral above knee amputee this was not due to diabetes

I am type 2 and just on Byetta too - and yes have some weight to lose.
I have lost 32lbs since 24th May.
We also have the Weight loss group here, so if you fancy joining in there too you would be most welcome! Have a read of the threads and see what you think.🙂
Have you had any actual sickness or just nausea? I have had lots of sickness - I am a bit worried consultant may take me off it😱
