Relationship to Diabetes
Type 1
Just wanted to introduce myself. I have type 1 diabetes and thought I may find this site useful. I am 65 years old and still have problems at times so it might be nice to share some views and opinions with others 🙂

Welcome kathyc. The forum will probably be quieter than usual today, as there's a meeting in London. Ask away 🙂

Hi Kathy, I'm 62 according to my birth certificate and the wrinkles etc but not according to the inside of my head. (Blooming Government started paying me my OAP - before I'd even deicided what I wanted to do when I grew up, PITA, isn't it - they should give you longer to decide !) (NOT)

Personally I still learn something new every day, so do you have any areas you know you are lacking? - have you experienced the latest round of 'Carb Counting' training? - I did it when I was a youthful 57.5 and frankly wondered how I'd managed to stay alive for the previous 35.5 years without it LOL

Will say the same as we say to everyone - No question you may ask is regarded as silly. The only silly ones are the ones people don't ask!

Hello Kathyc,
Welcome to the forum.
I'm sure you will find lots of help here. 🙂
