Welcome

Hi and welcome.

So pleased you have found the forum and decided to join us. Diabetes is extremely complex, particularly when you are managing it with insulin and being able to compare notes with others and learn practical tips and strategies to help manage it better or even just make sense of the irregularity of it can really help both practically, mentally and emotionally, so the forum is a great place for helping you to rationalise your diabetes management and to feel less isolated with it.

Would you like to tell us a bit about your diabetes?

Things like how long you have been diagnosed and which insulin(s) and sensor you use? Hopefully you do have a Constant Glucose Monitoring System (CGM) like Libre or Dexcom?
Is there anything particular which you find difficult or confusing that we can help you with?

Welcome to the forum @Tenacious

Great username - though I’m struggling to get past Jack Black’s character of Tenacious D (and the pick of destiny) which I’m sure you’ve probably never heard of!

Glad you’ve joined us. There’s something uniquely powerful about sharing experiences of a long-term condition like diabetes with others who are facing the same challenges day-to-day. Somehow hearing the same suggestions/advice from a qualified HCP is never quite as compelling as hearing it from 3 or 4 completely unqualified people with diabetes for whom it really worked!
