I am new to this and only recently be diagnosed
Hi, and welcome. As a newbie would you be happy to share some information such as how you came to be diagnosed (you had symptoms, or as the result of a blood test for something else), what your HbA1c was as this will determine how much you need to do to manage your T2, were you prescribed any diabetes meds, given any advice regarding diet (my money's on no) or told to exercise more or lose weight? Sorry if that all sounds a bit intrusive but as we are all different it does enable us to tailor advice to your particular circumstances.

Welcome to the forum @Sarahpops26

Glad you have joined us! It can be so helpful to have others who are facing similar challenges each day whose brains you can pick, or simply to share the struggles and frustrations of daily blood glucose juggling.

Fire away with any questions - nothing will be though of as too obvious or 'silly' 🙂
