New to here but 24 years with type one
Pumper on and off since 2000- break from 2004 to 2008 ( my choice)but managed to get permission to restart again straight away when I got fed up with erratic levels on MDI
Also happen to be a GP

Hi Abi, welcome to the forum 🙂 Did your diabetes play any part in you deciding to become a doctor? Don't worry, we won't descend on you with all our aches and pains! I hope that you will find plenty to interest you and share here - nice to have someone with experience of 'both sides of the fence'! 🙂

Out of interest why did you stop using the pump? I understand that it's pretty rare for people to stop pumping once they have started.

I'm type one and fourteen years down that road. I'm a sprog BMS in my local hospitals labs. Thinking of medicine later on.
