Hi, I’m Elaine, I’ve had diabetes for 57 years, one day I’m hoping to get the hang of it!!
Have been using Accu-Chek pump for a long time and Libra for nearly 3 years. Generally all just ok, hope I can help anyone.

Hi Elaine and welcome.

Wow! 57years! Great to have your no doubt vast experience added to the forum. I see from your other post, you are using Fiasp and looking to change pumps. I know @Pumper_Sue uses Fiasp in her current pump and is hoping to move to the Tandem T-slim with Dexcom sensors. I don't think the T-slim has been officially tested for Fiasp so may be a question of using it "off label" Hopefully Sue will clarify the situation now that I have tagged her. I have a sneaky feeling there is someone who uses Fiasp with the Omnipod. Thinking it is possibly @nonethewiser.... apologies if I am wrong with that.

Anyway, I will be pleased to pick up tips and advice from you when I spot something relevant, so thanks for joining and I hope you find a new pump that suits you and your lifestyle and Fiasp.

Hi Elaine and welcome to the forum 🙂 you must be my twin diabetes wise 🙂

Hi Loopielainie, welcome to the forum.

So glad to have you here as I'm sure we could all benefit from your experience! Many of our members join when first diagnosed which can be a very overwhelming time so it would be good to hear about how you've been able to manage things over the years.

Do let us know if we can help with anything in any way.

Welcome to the forum Elaine.
It is great to have your depth of experience on here. You will have seen many changes!!

How are you finding the Libre? I know I was amazed at the insights it gave me into all that was going on between meals. Like you I used an Accu-Chek pump for a long time, but am now using the Medtronic 780G with their sensors in a closed loop system.

Welcome to the forum!

Yes your correct, starting using fiasp in pods probably about 2 years ago, like it very much.
