Hi Shannonsparkle, welcome to the forum 🙂 I think we all feel like this at some time or another, it's very difficult living with something that you have to make so many decisions about every day - sometimes it becomes overwhelming. What insulin regime are you on, and how are your levels generally? Fluctuating or high levels will have a big, and often depressive, effect on your moods. Might be worth having a chat with your DSN about how you are feeling, as they are often very good listeners and he/she might be able to help you formulate a plan to take control.

What are the main things that upset you about diabetes? You will find lots of people here who understand, so please feel free to tell us about your concerns 🙂

I have had type 1 for over a year and I hate it ,why do I feel so sad and upset all the time !!

Hi Shannon,
being diagnosed is one heck of a shock to anyone and everyone goes through all sorts of emotions until they come to terms with the diagnoses and condition.

Have you had any help from your diabetes team in dealing with your feelings?
If not ask for help.
If it helps talk to us as well. No question is silly, we all started out in the same boat, most of are good listeners as well. (((((((((((hugs))))))))

hi. welcome to the forum, it can be hard esp in the beginning, your diabetes team may even be able to put you in touch with a counsellor if you felt it would help may be worth asking

Aaah. Please don't be sad

I'm sorry you feel horrible.

Chin up, you can manage this condition! I hope you have people to help and support you.

🙂
