I was diagnosed age 9-10 in 1973. I’ve been on a pump since 2015, currently on Omnipod. I use a freestyle Libre. Trying to lose 50 lbs with Slimming World and aiming to get my Hba1c back down (last one was 65, I’d like it much lower). Minimal complications (background retinopathy and early CKD on ramipril). Work part time. Xxxxx

You'll soon be due the 50 Year Gold Medal. Google it and have a look. It's straight-forward to apply.

I got mine in 2014 and am aiming for the 60 year one in 2024.
