Hi. I've had type 1 since I was 9 years old (now 24 years). I have two little boys who are 3 and nearly 2. Had two great pregnancies, good control and my little one still weighed 9lbs 12oz! Now thinking about trying for #3. Waiting for my latest HbA1c result...and wondering if I should ask my doctor about an insulin pump.

Hi and welcome, good to hear about your sucessful pregnancies, we have a few pregnant members here at the moment. I'm sure they will value your knowledge and expereince.

If you are thinking about a pump then it might be worth asking about it and finding out before you gte pregnant because my understanding is that they don't like to put people on pumps whilst pregnant- admin will know more about this.

My friend has type1 and she has had 3 successful pregnancies and pretty large babies
