Welcome to the forum @Stevo76
Sorry to read you are having problems with your Libre. Unfortunately it does have some limitations.
- when you say you "just started" using it, when did you start? The reason I ask is that some of us find our bodies can take a day or two to accept the foreign object in our arm and whilst it is "bedding in" the readings can be a bit erratic. For this reason, it is common to apply the sensor a day or two before starting it.
- how high are your levels? the reason I ask is because all CGMs (including Libre) are calibrated to be most accurate at "normal" levels (between about 4 and 9). I find my sensor can grossly over-report when my levels are in double figures. I will always double check a reading over 10 for this reason.

If neither of these scenarios are relevant for you, the sensor could be broken. In that case, Abbott usually replace them if you call their 0800 number.

Regarding alarms not being available, there have been some issues recently but I think they have been resolved. Do you have Bluetooth and Location services enabled? The sensor uses Bluetooth (which needs Location services) to communicate with the phone for alarms.

Hi Helli i only started the monitor yday. Maybe its still settling as you say? Im going to give it a chance to settle over the weekend and use my manual type monitor alingside it to see if it tallys. My levels are anywhere between 5 and 14 say..

Had you been incorrectly treated as T2 for long and what led up to your re-diagnosis as T1?
