Hi. I have a concurrent condition that means I've been on steroids for 8 years now. I developed type 2 diabetes 3 years ago. I've recently had a relapse in my concurrent condition and my steroid dose has had to be increased. I've gone from my blood sugars being within the reference range most of the time, to pretty much not being in the range, even though I'm eating pretty much the same thing. I can't do anything about my steroid dose, it has to be what it is. I just can't seem to get a handle on the blood sugars though. I'm on 3 different meds, and constantly having to tweak them.
