Hi newbie here x

Welcome to the forum @margnen61. @AJLang may be able to help with experiences of gastroparesis. There's also a Diabetes UK webpage of someone sharing their experiences here:

Welcome to the forum @margnen61

Sorry to hear you’ve been diagnosed with gastroparesis. It can be a very tricky complication to manage.

Yes a member here @AJLang has been doing an amazing job managing Gastroparesis for many years, alongside some other challenging complications.

Are you experiencing any symptoms? Have you been recommended any medication to help with your gastroparesis? And are you on any medication to help with your blood glucose management?

I am still in the process of a diagnosis. Struggling with stomach pains, awful nausea, rumbling gurgling stomach & feeling as if food sitting in stomach for a good while. I have had diabetes type 2 since i was 41,(now 64). Sugars were raised for a while went from 53 up to 74 so was started on intermediate insulin 4 mths ago. Morning readings back up to 7.5 - 7.7 on 28 units insulin. It does say that sugars can be harder to regulate if it is gastroparisis. Any input welcome.
