Hi...new to this site ...T1 DKA 140mmol

So my D date was 17th April this year.....6-7 months down line
Am now 75mmol from 140mol when in ...so 9% from 14-15% ish .....
No DNS or D team ...doing on own.....
Gp supports us
So.......

Hi Jibbers, welcome. Do I understand you haven't seen a consultant or a DSN at your local clinic? Have you at least been offered some training so you know how to handle things, such as managing your insulin?

As a newly diagnosed T1 you should have been referred to the clinic immediately, leaving you to 'get on with it' by yourself is just plain wrong. What insulin have they got you on anyway?

DAFNE - not yet but have done online course .....
An was my call...... Not near one that is much use as low low funded ...
My own gp an I are on it
An I must be doing right as my first hbc blood showed it had halfed from D day .....

Yes ,...relax ...I kinda knew peps may go nuts when they know ...but it's best for me ...long med history .so rather versed and even can take my bloods if needed lol ......
But lest I know it's all in hand an if needed I can contact my gp of any thing go's funky....
An any way have other autos that I have to deal with .......

Well....go is more there so can get bloods an do the meds stuff I need...once we agree on my findings we go ahead ....
But she is mainly a T 2 Doc
