Hi from a fellow T2 who's 16 months in. Asked away.
 
Welcome to the forum, Dave Hardcastle. Marmite is quite high in salt, but not too bad unless you spread it thick like chocolate spread and / or eat it three times every day.

Marmite is not my thing. Nor is anything with a lot of salt as I'm bothered about me having high blood pressure.

Hi Dave,

I guess it depends on what you're spreading the marmite on as to whether it works, as if it is white bread, it will still be stuffed with carbs. However, if it is wholemeal low carb bread, then you might be able to get away with such a move in terms of your BG. Not tried either cinnamon or marmite as a supplement.
