Hello Doreenk, welcome to the forum. 🙂

Welcome Doreen

Welcome.
Not noticed problems with differnt brands myself. Though I have read people reporting they had more problems with some brands.

Hello to Doreen.

Hi Doreen, welcome to the forum 🙂 Sorry to hear you are having problems with your medication :( Did your doctor say why the brand was changed? I'd tell him about the problems and ask that you be given the one that you were OK with. It's likely that everyone is being given a cheaper brand and those who don't have a problem stay on it, but those who do need to speak up 🙂

You shouldn't have to endure problems you didn't get before for the sake of a few pennies.

Welcome aboard Doreen 🙂. I second what Northerner says, mention it to the doctor, or maybe ask a pharmacist, they can be really helpful with side effects. My dad once reacted to one brand of medication, but not to another "identical" medication and it turned out the active ingredients were the same but the palatable coating was slightly different. It was the pharmacist who identified that was likely the problem and he rang my dad's doctor for him. Hope you get it sorted 🙂
