Found this forum via google. Type 1 since diagnosed in 1991 (33!). Have been recommended for a pump in Jan but am still waiting as consultant did not sign letter till march. Does anyone know how long this takes? main reason for pump is excessive hypos (not disabling but a lot below 4 so consultant not happy :-(

welcome to the forum, I am a type 1 diagnosed aged 19. I am not on a pump but there are loads of helpful pump users on the forum

Hi Malky, i have been on a pump for a few years now. I wouldnt say i love it but i find its the "Best" thing to sort the big D ! Welcome & good luck with yours 🙂
