Hi im new to all this

I have had diabetes for 34 years, the hospital i go to cannot control my diabetes.
Ive been on every insulin in the last 2 years even was back on pork insulin for abit but that didnt work either, i have got quite a few other medical problems as well now some are because of the diabetes, it all making me very depressed now its been going on for years and my control is still the same, well lack of control. I would realy like to hear off anyone in the same position.

I think alot of us can relate to the depression, myself included. Diabetes can have such an impact that it can get us down. I have recently been told I have neuopathy so thats got me down a bit and i'm just coming to terms with that.

Just wondering what insulins you are on at the moment? have you considered an insulin pump, not sure if you could benefit? I was also interested by your opening sentence of the hospital cannot control your diabetes. I am a great believer that people with diabetes are at least 51% of their healthcare team. just wondering how you see it?
