My name is Kate and I was diagnosed with Type 2 nine years ago. I haven't always found it easy to keep my blood sugars low, having found it difficult to get the right advice. I am now suffering with motor neuropathy, although my levels are pretty good these days. I keep cheerful though and will enjoy chatting to people who know what it's all about!

Hi Kate,

Welcome to the forum.

I've been a non-insulin-dependent Type 2 myself for nearly ten years now. I've made a big improvement in my condition over the last two years. It is my experience that a great deal is possible for many if people really want to do it.

Good luck and best wishes - John

Hi Katie - I am new to this forum and have posted on both the Newbie page titled Diabetic Plexopathy - anyone else have it? and also replied to a post on the general forum, someone whose partner seemed to have similar symptoms. I was wondering how your motor neuropathy affected you?

Hi Katie, Welcome to the Forum from me also. x
