as i have said i am 12 and my name is ross i was diagnosed 4 weeks ago i am still getting used to all of it i am on pens at the moment but soon i will get a pump what are you on and how did you feel when you discovered that you had diabetes and how do you feel now

yup im a type 2 i was diagnosed aged 26 last feb, most have diabetes on here, also theres a place on here for parents of diabetics and carers.

im only a teenager at heart but i do live with 3 of them (my Kids) so sometimes i can understand the 'talk' hehee !
have fun on the forum but remember there are mainly adults here and sometimes, all though we all try not to, they use lanuage that some people find unsuitable for even teenagers !!😱

I was diagnosed way back in the mists of time when I was five years old in 1996. I'm nineteen at the moment and currently a student. If you want to, feel free to add me on MSN. I've been through the same rather difficult years that you have and know just what it's like.
No question is too silly to ask on these boards, we'll always help you in whatever way we can.

I'm not a teenager, and I'm not good at advice. But if you just fancy having somebody to moan/shout at in a teenager kinda way, I am good a taking abuse lol.
