Welcome to desandcaz and steff09. These boards were a lifeline to me (and still are!) when I was diagnosed last September. If you've got any questions feel free to ask....I learnt more from the wonderful people on here than I did anywhere else.

Welcome

Hi DesandCaz
I was diagnosed last July and the initial few weeks are a bit of a shock but if you can control yor diet and increase your exercise it becomes easier.
I now feel healthier than I have for a long time .
Don't be afraid to ask questions as someone has usually been there before

Good Luck
