Hi,
I was active on the forum a long time ago.
I remember Northerner and many others here.
I used to play tunes on the virtual jukebox for us in the virtual pub where it was all carb and alcohol free. Northerner I still have loads of Kate Bush records if there is a new pub.
Anyway I'm back to ask for help.
Things have changed I am now suddenly an insulin addict.
It's a steep learning curve.
Best wishes,
Tez.

Welcome back @Tezzz 🙂

How has your T1 been treating you over the intervening years?

Hehe, I remember those long running virtual pub / cafe threads.

The Banting and Best was one, but I forget the other(s). Can you remember what they were called @Northerner ?

I also remember the virtual greasy-spoon cafe that @mikeyB ‘ran’ for years. Which did a particularly excellent imaginary fry up if I recall.

Thanks for the reply.

I was type 2 for a long time then the nurse put me on insulin Lantus to start then I begged for Novorapid and got it after a long discussion.

I eat fresh food no factory processed stuff. I go easy on the carbs. No bread for a week.

I remember the Banting and Best. I missed the virtual greasy spoon, I bet that was fun having anything naughty and no blood sugar spikes in real life.

Best wishes,

Tez,
