Relationship to Diabetes
Type 1.5 LADA
Hi All,
I'm Shirley, I'm 69 and was diagnosed with diabetes when I was in 2009. It came as a bit of shock and it took them a while to establish I has diabetes 1.5 which is apparently unusual to be diagnosed in middle aged women 🙂
I have no family history of diabetes and I weighed 9 stone when I was diagnosed.
I originally had a pump from cellnovo and I now have the Omnipod. I have had Libre for 2 years as I was considered a 'brittle diabetic' and I have recently had the Libre 2 (only a few weeks ago).
I have lots of hypos and have joined to try and find out about peoples experiences with the upgraded Omnipod Dash as I have never liked the original Omnipod handset, especially after using the Cellnovo which I found much easier.

Hi,
Thanks for reply,
Hope to get some advice, and hopefully learn something new
