hi everyone.

just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. Im Clare (25)and have been a insulin diabetic for 15 years now so more than half my life!! have lots of problems now mainly to the diabetes my kidneys are throwing out the protein, i have high cholestrol and inflamotory arthritus. but to be honest its just a part of life now and i just get on with it.
i also have 2 beautiful children a 3 year old called Sky who after a troublesome pregnancy arrived on time and nice and healthy. i also have a 2 year old called Grace who after a more troublesome pregnancy arrived early with lots of complications. i was never told all the extra high risks about diabetes and pregnancy just that they would keep an eye on my kidneys. Grace bless her was born with a cleft lip and palate, 3 heart conditions and a skull condition. wont go into it all now as she is pulling at my skirt for me to get up!!! lol but just wanted to say hi and looking foward to having a chat.

ive been diabetic for nearly over 9 years now and must admit that sometimes even i get astounded by the amount of new info i find on here.
