Type 2
hi I have type 2 and it's getting worse. I have just had my HbA1c levl it's 87 mmol/mol

I struggle with my diet, I live on my own and don't know how to cook. basically I do everything in the microwave. I usually have a few cans of larger every night. I need to get my act together, any assistance would be greatly appreciated,

Cheers!

Hi, and welcome.
Sorry but if you are to get your BG levels down and get your diabetes under control you are going to have to get your diet sorted. Carbohydrates are the bad guys and lager has plenty, so a few cans every night aren't doing you any good. Seriously, mate, you need to ease off.

Suggest you look at the Living With Diabetes section on the site. Plenty of advice on what you should be eating, and what you shouldn't.

You'll also get great support from people on the Forum, many of whom have been living with diabetes for years.

Martin
Many thanks for your great advice. I'm going to have to totally change my diet. Cheers!
