Hi Everybody

One question I would like to ask is what everyone’s experience with dapagaflozin is?
Empagliflozin gave me mild DKA, know of someone else who died from the DKA caused by a flozin, and then others are fine with it

My BG came down from 17 mmol/l to around 6 mmol/l in short order due to diet without drugs. I'd say your figures indicate carrying on with a healthy diet (under your control), not more drugs (under GP's control). But your GP knows your overall condition.

Have you heard what Prof Roy Taylor, a pre-eminent authority on T2D, has to say based on his pioneering research supported by Diabetes UK? Sounds like you are well on the way to sorting your liver and may have a bit further to go to get your pancreas back to normal.

Thanks Doc,

This is our issue generally that people experience radically different outcomes based on their personal make up.

My outline plan is to wait until the metformin is fully effective and Ive lost weight and then see where the numbers are. If I can drop the metformin dose Ill try with dapagaflozin and see where I am.
