HI bg reading UTI ?

Bed time reading first one 18.4 retried 14.8. Cleaned fingers first the lot. Couldt believe this as normal bedtime range 6 to 9. I think I have the beginning of a uti and wondered if this can affect bg levels?

A UTI or any infection can increase blood glucose but that does seem to quite a big difference to what you normally get. Did you eat anything unusual?
Cranberry capsules can help with UTIs, cranberries have D-mannose which prevents the bacteria that cause a UTI from adhering to the tissues of the urinary tract.
 
It's now 153am and I feel really weird got them to test and it's 4.8. Either I'm cooking something or the meters faulty But they calerbrated it as well.or maybe the stripes on are cack
Am on the safe side having 2 JBs know it's not a hypo at 4.8 but I feel like I am so being cautious. The sweat is pouring off me i feel like c**p.will hey them to test again in little while

Hope you are feeling better today Gail. Are your BG readings back to what's normal for you,?
 
Feeling much better and bg back to normal TMI somethings not right there am seeing ANP tomorrow when she comes to LH
