Hi and welcome.

If you can answer a few questions it might help us understand what your current situation is and enable us to give more appropriate advice....
How long have you been diagnosed?
What if any medication are you on for your diabetes?
How high are your readings?
What if any dietary changes have you made?

Welcome to the forum @Sharon28

Have you been on insulin for long?

Have you been given help to adjust your NovoRapid doses each time you are eating a meal or snack with carbohydrate in it?

It certainly sounds like your insulin is not well matched to your body’s needs and the food you are eating. :(

Do you take your Humulin I (background insulin) once a day or twice a day?

Hi I take humalin once a day right from the start I thought it wasn't doing what it should but no 1 listen to me
