Hi,
I'm a parent of a junior school boy, Type 1 since he was 1, on a pump for just over a year.
We get fantastic medical support but I hope to get some useful info on boys dealing with Type 1 from those who are or who have encountered the same obstacles.

Hi Seasider Dad, welcome to the forum 🙂 We have lots of friendly parents here who hopefully will be able to share their experiences, plus lots of people who have grown up with diabetes who can also offer their help, so if you have any particular questions, please ask away! 🙂

Hi seasider dad
Welcome to the forum ! you have come to the right place, I'm sure you'll find lots of great advice and answers to any questions you may have. I was diagnosed aged 19 but I have great deal of respect for parents with type 1 children - it must be hard work for you, but I'm sure you'll benefit from being here! 🙂
