Welcome to the forum @Kol
Very pleased that you have found us.

If you are happy to do so it would be good to know how you manage your diabetes.
We already know that you have the Libre.
Are using injections or a pump?
which insulin(s) do you use?

I look forward to hearing more from you.

Hi and welcome. Hope you managed to resolve the Libre issue and it is now working well.

Yes, the forum is a veritable goldmine of knowledge and experience as well as lovely folks who understand the stresses and frustration and are happy to lend a sympathetic ear (well eye actually) and offer moral support when things get you down. It really is a great community. If you fancy getting to know some of us a bit better, I can recommend the "Grouo 7-day waking average" thread. It is a bit like a virtual coffee morning where we sign in with our waking readings each day and share a bit about our plans for the day or what we did the previous day or have a moan about the weather or our diabetes or share our little triumphs in the constant battle with BG levels. There are occasional submissions from our in house culture minister, @ColinUK who posts his critiques of the latest opera or ballet he has seen... usually highly amusing I should add, or the exploits of our own rock star @khskel or the Emmerdale of Carlisle, the @eggyg family and lots of other interesting characters too numerous to mention.

Yes, happy to hear how you manage your diabetes if you are willing to share and anything else you would like to tell us about yourself.... interests and hobbies etc. Look forward to getting to know you better.

Hi SB2015,

Hi @Kol and welcome.

As @rebrascora has said this forum goes way beyond just being about diabetes. It’s about our lives with diabetes.
People bring all sorts of stuff here and it’s genuinely one of the most supportive and kindhearted corners of the Internet so pull up a chair and make yourself comfortable!

Welcome to the forum @Kol

I believe the problem has now been fixed, and the Libre app is back in the App Store for iphone users 🙂

Hope it works for you!

Hi @everydayupsanddowns,

Thank you, I tried again on Saturday gone, after I had posted and it decided to work and has done since, seems to be working fine, got to say readings are close to meter as well.

CGM ability is fantastic, wish it had been available years ago.

I may not ”Update“ the “Update“ yet, just incase!

Cheers

Haha! I can understand your reticence!

Abbott’s suggestion is:

“I am pleased to let you know that a new version of the FreeStyle LibreLink iOS app (2.10.1) is now available for users in the UK in the Apple App Store.”

We recommend that iPhone users upgrade to this newest version, which fixes the issue with the previous version (2.10) and includes automatic real-time glucose readings for FreeStyle Libre 2 users.”

I’ll give it week or two 🙂
