Hi There

I'm a single dad with two daughters both with type 1 diabetes, my 21 yr old was diagnosed at the age of 5 and my other daughter is 14 and she was diagnosed at the age of 4 n half. Hoping to speak to other mums and dads within the forum and any from Northern Ireland.

Dave 🙂

Welcome to the forum Dave.

Good to have you here. Parents of children with D all have my utmost respect. It;s tricky enough working this business out when you can feel what's going on - doing it 3rd hand must be very tricky!!

Welcome Dave. 🙂 Sounds like you've got your hands full! My dad had a similar experience - I was diagnosed as a baby, my little sis in her teens & mum died when we were kids. It must have been tough for him but we turned out ok. 😉 This forum is fab - very supportive & loads of valuable experience from other parents.

All the best,

Twitchy 🙂
