Hi Claire, welcome to the forum 🙂 We have people of all types and ages here, so lots of experiences to share. Looking forward to hearing more from you. Some of our members also run social groups for people in your age group called 'Circle D' - lots of really lovely people and it really helps to get some 'real life' contact with other diabetics. 🙂 Here's their website, if you're interested:

That puts you at the same age as me. I've been diabetic since I was five. I'm happy to send you my MSN/Facebook stuff if you want me to. I've started on a pump a few months ago (four months yesterday, no, I'm not that sad really...)
