So I've been ill for the past couple days and last night I only had around 4 hours of sleep due to being ill and the whole up last night up to now my blood sugars have been high I think the lowest theyve been is 11 and now I've got 0% time in target on my libre which is the worst it's ever been I was just wondering if theres any way to lower then should I do a correction dose or something? I did check my ketones they are at 0.2 so they're not bad

What exactly is wrong with you @ILikeSugar :| ? Do you have a stomach upset? Are you vomiting? That can cause issues.

Have you been eating? Have you still been taking your basal insulin? (You must)

You should only correct if you know what you’re doing. I think you’re recently diagnosed? So, you should get some help from your DSN or 111, if necessary.

Here are the sick day rules, but you should have been given something similar when you were diagnosed, which you might have overlooked:

.

It's a stomach bug I think I'm not vomiting but I've been on and off the toilet all of last night and today and I had breakfast and dinner but not lunch as I wasnt hungry and thank you I will have a look at that if they stay high until tomorrow I'll most likely call 111

With stomach bugs, things can go downhill quite quickly. If you’re not vomiting, that’s good, at least, and eating is good too, as much as you can. If you can’t eat, try sipping some sugar Coke or similar.

You have a Libre and that’s good, but do fingerprick too to keep an eye on things. Keep testing for ketones regularly too, and try to keep hydrated.

Definitely phone for advice if you have the slightest concern. I hope you feel better soon.
