Welcome to the forum.
I am not surprised that with a high blood glucose you are feeling rubbish however if the gliclazide is doing it's job then your blood glucose may have dropped quickly from what it was before which can make people feel unwell whilst the body gets used to lower level.
If you have started to need the additional medication it may be that you didn't make enough changes to your diet in reducing carbohydrates as metformin alone is unlikely to have much impact without doing that.
Do you know what your HbA1C is that warranted the extra medication.
11.3mmol/l is high 2 hours after eating but what was it before and what did you have? When did you take your gliclazide as it is supposed to be most effective when taken 30min before you start your meal.

Sorry to hear you are struggling @struggling sam

Hopefully the Gliclazide will begin to help reduce your BG leves gradually over the coming weeks.

As @Leadinglights says, getting the right balance between meds and meal choices is really important. Slightly reducing the portion sizes of carbohydrates might help your meds work better - though you’ll still need some carbs with the gliclazide to avoid your levels going too low.
