Between 2010 and 2011, over 10,000 people helped themselves while helping more than 10,000 others. Most participants in the Big Blue Test experience an average blood sugar drop of 20% and by every Big Blue Test result a donation is made by the program sponsor to help others around the world with diabetes in need.

The Big Blue Test is a program of the Diabetes Hands Foundation that encourages people with diabetes to test their blood sugar, exercise for 14-20 minutes, test again and share their experience on BigBlueTest.org. For every test, people with diabetes in need receive life-saving supplies through Big Blue Test grants that are awarded to humanitarian diabetes charities in the US and around the world, made possible thanks to the program sponsor.

Do it! Do it now! 🙂

I need some motivation to get things sorted, this might just be it

I'm going to do it later this afternoon 🙂 You can do it as many times as you want up to November 14th in order to get Accu-chek/Roche to cough up more cash! 🙂

Not heard of this before. I have a few test strips at home so I'll do it tomorrow morning before (fasting as I do test on a Saterday morning) and when I get home from the gym. Or should the before test not be a fasting 1?

It doesn't matter about it being a fasting test before really - the idea is to see what effect doing 15 mins of exercise has on your levels, so just take your test immediately befre, do the 15 mins, then test again and post your numbers on the website 🙂

The big blue test is such a great idea!

Did one last week, must do another!

Just posted mine.

30 mins at the gym, but the site included a 30 minute time on the drop-down list.

Before 8.1 about 1 & 1/2 hours after brekkie of weetatbix.

workout quite intensive & 4.7 after.
