Last year, we conducted research on the Future of Diabetes, to which many of you gave your contribution. Some of the biggest bits of feedback we got were around improving healthcare professionals.

Diabetes UK Clinical Champions are healthcare professionals with the clinical expertise, leadership skills and passion to improve care locally for people living with diabetes. Each year, healthcare professionals apply to become Clinical Champions We choose only the very best applications which will do the most to help people living with diabetes.
Can you help us out by reviewing a few applications? We need five to ten people to join our Clinical Champions application panel.

What do Clinical Champions do?
We currently have 65 Clinical Champions working across the whole of the UK. They've achieved some fantastic things so far. They’ve trained thousands of other healthcare professionals, developed innovative new clinics, reduced medication errors, increased the number of people getting treatment for diabetes, and much more.
