Thank uWelcome to the forum.
Thank u so much for your helpLook on the packet of special K and see what the total carb content is for the amount you are eating. How many slices of granary bread? Fresh fruit juice, even without added sugar, is very high in carbs. Look on the label and see how many carbs you are having for the portion you are taking. There is no need to not eat any carbs, but they really should be the most nutritional type of carbs. All breads, rice, pasta, potatoes are high in carbs. How many carbs in the special K bar. Any food you eat that has a label on it, read the label first and work out the carbs for the portion you are having.
When you work out what carbs you would normally be having for that meal, reduce them slightly and then after a while reduce them a bit more. Do not do it drastically do it gradually. For example if you would have two slices of bread and one egg, have one slice of bread and two eggs and add a little butter to the scrambled eggs. At some later stage you could cut out the bread entirely and have some scrambled eggs with some cheese over it and some mushrooms for example.
Take into consideration the whole amount of carbs of that particular meal.
