Relationship to Diabetes
Type 2
Hi Just joined the forum today as my friend and both have type 2 and live in Spain. We were diagnosed in Uk and continue receiving medication.
Recently my doctor said after my 3 month blood test it was a bit high at 8 so she prescribed a new tablet called Glimepirida pensa 2 mg - my question is ( I know I should have asked doc but didn't) should I take this in conjunction with Efficib 50mg or only the new tablet.
She is in a similar position with her medication.
Thanks in advance 😎

Hi, and welcome to the forum. You really need to check with your doctor, but I expect you should be taking both.

Hi scotslass, welcome to the forum 🙂 Efficib is metformin, I see, and it is often taken in conjunction with the Glimepirida (glimepiride). You do need to check with your doctor though, to confirm whether he intends you to take both.

Welcome to the forum scotslass 🙂
