Hi
I have M.E. (chronic fatigue) severely (am pretty much housebound) & have had this for 12 years. I have had problems with candida, blood sugar, carb handling for many years.
I had a test for diabetes about 6 months ago but it came back negative. However since I started the menopause I have become much sicker, my candida is really out of control & I feel nauseous a lot, can't handle more than a tiny bit of occasional carb ( any more makes me go hyperactive & then crash), I have bumpy skin & my hair is falling out - also urinating more but not thirsty.
I am doing a stone age diet but went a bit mad on nuts last month before my period & now really sick. I know I need to get the candida down but am dreading the die off as I'm already really weak & so thin.
I intend starting a very mild anti fungal as soon as I feel well enough to handle it but I'm very scared. Wondered if anyone has any good advice.

Hi there, welcome to the forum!

I am sorry to hear you sound so poorly with these symptoms. I have to mention to you that although we are a supportive bunch on here 🙂)), we are not really able to advise you medically in such ways incase what we say is misleading. It sounds as if you have become very unwell and I would urge you to seek a proper medical consultation with someone who knows your complex history like your GP.

I really hope that doesnt sound too damning, you sound so unwell and Im sure you would just like some support, but I would urge you to give your GP a buzz.

Really hope you feel better soon and that you get a diagnosis so that you can begin some effective treatment. Keep us updated.

Lou x
