Carer/Partner
Hi there I am a carer of someone with type 2 insulin dependent and neuropathy in feet. I am looking for any help and advice on diet and more importantly the extreme pain that my partner is experiencing in his feet. He is currently on 100mg Pregabalin in evening but is still in constant pain. Going back to GP tomorrow but if anyone out there has any advice it would be gratefully received

Welcome to the forum. hopefully someone with insulin knowledge will be along soon but a couple of questions may help them offer any advice. What insulin and when do they take it and are their blood glucose levels well controlled as if not that will exacerbate the neuropathy pain.
What diet that will be suitable will depend on what the insulin regime is. What sort of blood glucose levels are you seeing when they test with the home monitor,
Have a look at the Learning zone (orange tab at the top ) and hopefully that will point you to better understanding.
