Hi Folks,

I am in work and I am in despirate need to get the hunger to go away what would my options be? Would rivita and some cream cheese (Philadelphia) be an answer.

I am just trying to figure out what people eat as a snack.

I am a very large person (surprise surprise) so it makes having only 3 small meals very difficult.

Please help

A lump of cheddar cheese and some nuts, slices of ham, salami etc or tin of tuna, mackerel or sardines.

Why 'small' meals though? Same amount of whatever protein you want (meat, fish, cheese , eggs ...) and SHED loads of veg but only a few spuds if any. If you have some root veg as well as plenty of green leaf veg, and have a big serving of at least 3 different ones if not more it should fill you better. Your plate should be fuller !

Sesame seed Ryvitas are only 6g of carb, and cheese is good cos it's protein which again, fills you up better and for longer than any amount of carb ever can.

Carb gives you a half hour feeling full and then you plummet and need topping up. Protein doesn't do that - it drips in a lot slower.

My personal go-to is coffee or water

Ryvita (pumpkin seed and oats) with blue cheese or peanut butter or duck pate. Add pickles to taste 🙂
Celery sticks filled with peanut butter.

Celery with hummus, eggs hard boil some so they are ready to eat when you want them.
Jenny is right, meals don't have to be small, even if you need to lose weight.
