Welcome to the forum @Bea08 , glad that you have found us.

It is very rare for CGM such as Dexcom or the Medtronic sensors to be funded on the NHS, and reserved for those with extreme hype o unawareness. However, many people are now able to get the Libre sensors on the NHS, although it is still a bit of a postcode lottery.

If you are happy to give us more info about how you manage your diabetes we can tailor our answers. MDI or pump? What insulins are you using ?

Access to continuous monitoring on the NHS is improving, but it still seems to depend on your CCG and your hospital, and whether your clinic thinks it is something that would work for you.

Libre is by far the most widespread sensor being prescribed, and while not perhaps 100% a CGM in the classic sense, has many of the same benefits.
