Hello everybody

The New insulin is Great.
Use 60 units now eaht morning.

Gone over to humalog again.
Just larges doses.

But now my blood sugar is 3.1

I’m glad you like the new insulin @Stressabeccy 🙂 Watch out for low blood sugars, and if you keep getting low sugars, your insulin dose might need changing. Different insulins sometimes need slightly different doses.

You know what to do @Stressabeccy - eat something sugary 🙂

It’s best to treat a low blood sugar early so that you can stop it dropping too low. Also, if a person has lots of low sugars, they will gradually lose the warning signs of having a low blood sugar. This can be dangerous.

I always keep Coke, sweets (candy) and biscuits to treat low blood sugar.

Have you been told what to do if your level goes low (below say 4) as you risk being hypo.
When you were 3.2 you should probably have had a glucose tablet or tablets and then tested again. As you have now gone lower then do that now.
Inka got in quicker than me.
