Hi and welcome.

Would you like to tell us a bit about your diabetes? Things like how long you have been diagnosed, what if any medication you are on and your HbA1c if you know it. That latter is the blood test result used to diagnose diabetes and will be a number of 48 or more if you have a full diagnosis (42-47 is a "pre diabetes" warning reading and below 42 is normal.)

Is there anything particular which brings you to the forum. Most people I think are looking for advice and support. Feel free to ask whatever you need to know. It is all very confusing and overwhelming at first but it certainly does get easier.
Look forward to hearing more from you.

Welcome to the forum @Aine 1

Make yourself at home! We are a friendly bunch, and we have hundreds of years of lived diabetes experience here, with all manner of approaches and strategies being used by different people.

Ask away with any questions you may have, or simply rant, vent, and let off steam about anything you find frustrating. Folks here will instinctively ‘get it’ 🙂
