Hi @Carolep , how are you? Welcome. Tell us a bit about yourself. Loads of helpful people here.

Hi, Carole here i was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes about 5yrs ago...I am on 500mg metformin once a day...I started walking with my friend about 3months ago and then the challenge came up to walk 1000000 steps in 3months...I thought might as well raise some money while i am trying to get a little fitter...I am 67yrs old.

A million steps in 3 months! o_O :D

1000,000 steps, wow, I nearly made a break of 147 in snooker once but missed the first ball. :D

What an amazing goal! So is this in total during your daily life or are you going on specific walks to accomplish this.

How are you managing with your numbers atm?

What a great thing @Carolep 🙂

Three months of 11000 steps a day will really help your blood glucose levels, and any money you raise will really help Diabetes UK. Great stuff!
