Hi Lisa! Yeah it is. ThanksHello @Ammy
Looks like your post got a little lost.
Welcome to the forum.
Are you finding it helpful?
Argh - not gonna lie - it's hard and now the pubs are open again, as soon as the first glass is in me, I want ALL THE FOOD. Progress has stalled!Hi EllsBells. Great progress. Well done!
Hi Rebrascora,Hi Ammy and welcome.
I see that you are a parent. How old is your child and are they newly diagnosed? Would you like to tell us a bit about their current insulin regime ie Multiple Daily Injections (MDI) or a pump and which insulin(s) you have been given and if you have Freestyle Libre sensors or if you are finger pricking to monitor levels?
Is there anything particular you are having difficulties with or have you just joined the forum for general support and to pick up tips. We are a friendly lot so if you have any issues you need help with don't be frightened to ask. You may find that you get more than one answer and they may be different but that is because people's experience of diabetes can be very individual so you have to assess responses and figure out what may work best for you and your child .... or be prepared to experiment a little with the suggestions given to find what works best. We are all learning all the time and diabetes rarely keeps it's goal posts in the same place for long so you will find that sometimes just when you get things running smoothly and you think you have "cracked it" a spanner drops into the works and you have to rethink your strategy.
Anyway, make yourself at home and if there is anything specific you need help with, just shout up!
Hi everydayupsanddowns, yeah it is. Thanks
